Flexographic Plate Maker

Location: Ossett. UK

Shift Pattern: Rotating 6:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00 (early finish Friday at 19:45)

 

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Flexographic Plate Maker to join our team in Ossett. The successful candidate will be responsible for the manufacture of flexographic printing plates and related tasks, ensuring high-quality standards and operational efficiency.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Manufacture Flexographic Printing Plates using Esko CDI technology.
• Operate Kongsberg cutting table for precision cutting.
• Perform quality control checks to maintain product standards.
• Hold or be willing to train for Fork Lift Truck operation.
• Maintain general housekeeping and adhere to health & safety guidelines.
• Work within a rotating shift pattern (6:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00) with early finish on Fridays.
• Overtime expected for holiday cover and one Saturday morning in every three.

Requirements

• Previous experience in flexographic plate making is desirable but not essential (training provided).

• Ability to work accurately and maintain high attention to detail.

• Willingness to learn and operate specialized equipment.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Flexibility to work overtime and weekend shifts as required.
